Super RugbyALL BLACKS halfback Jimmy Cowan is having talks with Gloucester, according to a British newspaper report.
The Guardian reported that Cowan is understood to be deep into negotiations with the Aviva Premiership club.
Cowan, who finished as the All Blacks’ third-choice halfback behind Piri Weepu and Andy Ellis during the Rugby World Cup, is off contract at the end of this season.
He has struggled for game time this season at the Highlanders after falling behind rising star Aaron Smith, so it would come as little surprise if he did head overseas at the end of Super Rugby.
