BLUES FLANKER Luke Braid has been suspended for three weeks for striking.
He was cited after hitting with his elbow Stormers player Nizaam Carr during the 62nd minute of his side’s 27-17 loss to the Stormers last weekend.
The ban was reduced from five weeks to three due to Braid’s remorse and good record.
Because the Blues have the bye next week, Braid will only miss this Friday’s match against the Hurricanes and the round seven encounter with the Rebels.
