Masaga re-signs with BOP

CHIEFS WING Lelia Masaga has re-signed with Bay of Plenty for the coming season.

“I love playing for the Bay and the community is fantastic. I am looking forward to the ITM Cup season and helping the Bay try and win the competition” he says.

Adds Bay of Plenty Rugby Union chief executive Mike Rogers: “It is great that Lelia has decided to continue playing his rugby for the Bay. He plays with passion and enjoyment and those values connect well with our supporters”.

Masaga has scored 15 tries in 21 games for the Steamers since linking up with them from Counties Manukau in 2010.
