Fists fly at SBW weigh-in

SONNY BILL Williams and Clarence Tillman III traded punches at their weigh-in in Hamilton today.

The men, who will fight tomorrow night for the New Zealand heavyweight title, could be seen whispering in each other’s faces when the posed for photographers.

Tillman shoved Williams in the chest and landed a glancing right cross.

Williams responded by shoving Tillman back, with the American boxer falling on the floor.

Their respective camps intervened before the altercation escalated.

Williams told Tillman: “'I'm going to f*** you up, bro.”

The press conference had been a visibly more tense affair than Williams' other appearances, with Tillman scoffing and shaking his head when the All Black said he would bring the fight to him.

Tillman told reporters he went to the TAB this morning and placed a $1000 bet on himself to knock Williams out.

Tillman weighed in at 128.4kg and Williams at 107.9kg.
