FORMER ALL Blacks midfielder Sam Tuitupou has signed a two-year deal with Sale.
Tuitupou is currently plying his trade for Irish heavyweights Munster, but will join the Sharks next season.
“Sam is a great signing for us,” said the club’s executive director of sport Steve Diamond.
“He has a great work-rate, is very strong in the contact area and will boost our backline in both attack and defence.”
Born in Auckland, the 29-year-old played nine tests for the All Blacks before joining Worcester four years ago.
He then signed with Munster last summer after Worcester was relegated from England’s premier club competition.
This weekend throws up another set of games which could go either way.
