White in line for Brumbies gig

FORMER SPRINGBOKS mentor Jake White has been confirmed as an applicant for the Brumbies head coaching job.

The Canberra-based franchise’s chief executive Andrew Fagan denied that the World Cup winner had secured the job, but confirmed he would be interviewed.

“I can confirm he has applied and will be interviewed,” said Fagan.

Fagan, foundation Brumbies and former Wallabies backs Joe Roff and Pat Howard and prominent Canberra businessman John Mackay will head the four-man panel interviewing for the post.
